Fair, not overpriced and not underestimated. There should be prices on the Service website. Necessarily! without asterisks, clear and detailed, where technically possible - as accurate and concise as possible.

If spare parts are available, up to 85% of complex repairs can be completed in 1-2 days. Modular repairs require much less time. The website shows the approximate duration of any repair.

Warranty and responsibility

A guarantee must be given for any repairs. Everything is described on the website and in the documents. The guarantee is self-confidence and respect for you. A 3-6 month warranty is good and sufficient. It is needed to check quality and hidden defects that cannot be detected immediately. You see honest and realistic terms (not 3 years), you can be sure that they will help you.

Half the success in Apple repair is the quality and reliability of spare parts, so a good service works with suppliers directly, there are always several reliable channels and its own warehouse with proven spare parts current models so that you don't have to waste extra time.

Free diagnostics

This is very important and has already become a rule of good manners for service center. Diagnostics is the most difficult and important part of the repair, but you don't have to pay a penny for it, even if you don't repair the device based on its results.

Service repairs and delivery

Good service values your time, so he offers free shipping. And for the same reason, repairs are carried out only in the workshop of a service center: they can be done correctly and according to technology only in a prepared place.

Convenient schedule

If the Service works for you, and not for itself, then it is always open! absolutely. The schedule should be convenient to fit in before and after work. Good service works on weekends and holidays. We are waiting for you and working on your devices every day: 9:00 - 21:00

The reputation of professionals consists of several points

Company age and experience

Reliable and experienced service has been known for a long time.
If a company has been on the market for many years and has managed to establish itself as an expert, people turn to it, write about it, and recommend it. We know what we are talking about, since 98% of incoming devices in the service center are restored.
Other service centers trust us and refer complex cases to us.

How many masters in areas

If there are always several engineers waiting for you for each type of equipment, you can be sure:
1. there will be no queue (or it will be minimal) - your device will be taken care of right away.
2. you give your Macbook for repair to an expert in the field of Mac repairs. He knows all the secrets of these devices

Technical literacy

If you ask a question, a specialist should answer it as accurately as possible.
So that you can imagine what exactly you need.
They will try to solve the problem. In most cases, from the description you can understand what happened and how to fix the problem.

I noticed it very much interesting thing. During two days of active use of the new eights, I showed them to many friends. And the scenario was always the same - everyone snatches the 8 Plus out of my hands, but it remains unattended. Makes me wonder... What did Apple do so cool in the new generation? We'll figure it out iPhone review 8Plus.

Bundling or Apple's boundless greed

The box is now painted in the color of the iPhone inside. This is, of course, great, but the company would be better off spending the money to put a Lightning to USB C cable inside, which, by the way, costs 2 thousand rubles separately. Using it, we could at least connect the new iPhone to a MacBook, or to another modern laptop. Fortunately, USB C is now being actively implemented by everyone.

But no! Instead, the Cupertino team left the outdated 1-amp charger. From the master's shoulder, so to speak.

In addition, inside are regular wired EarPods with a Lightning plug, an adapter from it to a mini-jack and... stickers. There is nothing else interesting. You can see for yourself by watching my unboxing.

Design - the same thing for four years

The new plus makes several impressions. Here are the key ones.

Lord, how healthy he is!

The iPhone 8 Plus is the worst example of a smartphone with a 5.5-inch screen. Why did I raise this topic again, since this was already clear with the example of the 6 Plus? Because this perfectly demonstrates the manufacturer’s relationship with its fans: “everything is for their sake, so that they feel good, so that each new generation is more comfortable than the previous one.” Yeah!

The market is full of smartphones with the same screen, but in a more compact body. Samsung, Huawei and Xiaomi have been particularly successful in this.

A smartphone is inconvenient anytime, anywhere. It barely fits into the front pants pocket. If you still shoved it there, got into the car and drove off, God forbid, they will call you. It’s simply impossible to take the device out of your pocket while moving and not dig it into a pole.

However, a large display is truly a boon. Surf the web, scroll through Instagram feed, typing on a normal keyboard - doing all this is much more convenient than on. When I was using the latter, I found myself thinking that I needed to stop and concentrate in order to type without errors. Plus allows you to use it in a more relaxed way.

How to show off now?

For the fourth year in a row, the same front panel. Nothing, literally nothing new.

Oh yes! Apple now claims the glass is 50 percent stronger. I didn't check this, but I'm sure one of you will do it sooner or later.

But I checked the device for something else - scratch resistance and new iPhone failed the test.

In just a week and a half of use, scratches appeared on both the display and the back cover. This is completely out of the question!

All the changes are at the back - now we don’t have smoothly polished metal, but tempered glass. But with an oleophobic coating, which is of very high quality.

There is no exact information on the type of glass. They say this is the last generation Gorilla Glass, and this, if anything, is the fifth version.

Such a panel was installed at the back for one single purpose. The nosebleed smartphone needed at least some innovation, so it was decided to place wireless charging inside. However, this cannot be called an innovation, because “skis” have been actively using this technology in their flagships for four years now.

Since a special coil is used under glass for this purpose, we had to reduce battery. We write down 225 mAh as a loss (the 7 Plus had 2900 mAh, but now it’s 2675).

He's never black!

Have you looked at the “ass”? We have already realized that black iPhones from the current line are no longer available. Now we have gray space or Space Gray. Actually, as it was before.

Personally, I don't like it. The back panel looks okay, but it's not exactly a "wow" thing.

Things are even worse with other colors. Look at the golden one, the back of which is white in the light, but is “rusty” indoors?

The silver version is the most boring. For conservatives and those who are not at all embarrassed by the huge frames on the sides of the screen.

It slides, but not like that

One of the main tactile-visual iPhone 8 Plus specifications— it’s still slippery, but it’s not comparable to its metal predecessor (not Jet Black). The glass on the back definitely adds a touch of grip. Well, how? Not much, 30-40 percent.

However, due to its large size, dropping the smartphone on the floor and now saying goodbye to both glasses is still a piece of cake. So purchasing a cover is strictly required.

If anything, iFixit has already disassembled the new product and gave it 6 out of 10 points on the maintainability scale. This means that if something happens, repairing a new product will be more difficult than the same seven (7 points).

Plays louder

As in its predecessor, the sound comes from two speakers at once: from the main one at the bottom and the speaker at the top. The latter sounds quieter, but adds good stereo.

The new Plus plays louder than the old one. By 25% according to official statements. I’ll check this later in a separate review, where I’ll compare both generations of devices, but for now we’ll take Apple’s word for it.

The sound itself is of high quality and loud, not even above average, but rather closer to the maximum of what I have heard. And of course, the 8 Plus is a little louder. Another argument in favor of buying its older brother.

Little things

The antenna frames are now very short and visible only at the ends. If anything, the base of the case is made of 7000-series aluminum (it doesn’t bend, that is), and Apple also talks about some kind of “steel base.” Apparently it's inside the case.

The physical buttons are made very carefully and do not wobble in their grooves. Not a single manufacturer of Android smartphones pays attention to this - everything rattles like a rattle. But not the iPhone.

Don't worry about the protruding camera. Here we have sapphire glass, so it will be extremely difficult to scratch the lenses.

The display is nothing new. Practically...

There's nothing new about the iPhone 8 Plus screen. Unless they added support for True Tone technology. The point is that a special sensor next to front camera monitors ambient light and adjusts the temperature of screen colors to suit a specific situation. In short, the screen becomes either very yellow (in a room with low lighting) or slightly yellowish (in bright sun).

And no, it's not Night Shift. This setting works separately. If, of course, you activate it.

Compared the screens of the iPhone 8 Plus and . That's what came out of it.

If you compare it head-on, it becomes obvious that the 8 Plus display renders colors a little more pleasantly. The youngest ones are sharper and have a slight green tint.

A strong deviation along the diagonal axis shows that this is a very ordinary IPS matrix. Yes, it’s high quality, no doubt about it, but it still floats like a whitish fog. This is not AMOLED.

Apple tirelessly claims that the screen here is “Retina HD”, that it is new and all redesigned, that it supports the extended P3 color gamut and all that, but in reality the display easily looks like someone’s Optic AMOLED.

To the great delight of the owners of numerous Chinese “manufactures” that produce and sell replacement components for smartphones around the world, Apple decided to pack it in a case with two glass panels, which are quite easily broken when dropped from a height of human height.

Experienced users remember the time when the iPhone 4 / 4S with a broken back panel was one of the most popular smartphones, now this fate most likely awaits new iPhone models 8 / 8 Plus and . At least, the first drop tests of the 5.5-inch device do not inspire faith in new glass manufacturing technologies. The description on the company's official website states that Apple has never produced such durable glass, and in addition, its use has finally made it possible to implement wireless charging.

Let's take a look at the results of experiments by independent bloggers.

Drop test iPhone 7 Plus vs iPhone 8 Plus - No. 1

One of the first to destroy brand new smartphones was a well-known specialist in this matter under the nickname TechRax from the YouTube channel of the same name. In his video, he dropped the iPhone 7 Plus and iPhone 8 Plus several times from his height in the same way that would have happened if he had dropped the phone during a conversation. Result in detailed description does not need it - both glass panels of the 5.5-inch G8 are covered with a web of cracks and will require replacement.

Drop test iPhone 7 Plus vs iPhone 8 Plus - No. 2

More detailed testing The same models were carried out by the authors of the EverythingApplePro channel. Their series of experiments began with a seemingly harmless fall from less than a meter on the back panel, as a result of which the protective glass of the display unexpectedly burst on the iPhone 7 Plus. The device was replaced and subsequently the iPhone 8 Plus and the updated iPhone 7 Plus fell onto both panels and edges from heights of 1, 2 and 3 meters.

This time, the iPhone 8 Plus showed a decent result - display module survived after falling from a height of human height. The rear panel could not withstand the collision with concrete. Put an end to life cycle Both devices have a three-meter free fall.

Greetings to everyone who stopped by!

If you read my reviews, you probably know that I am an experienced apple lover, i.e. the last 6 or even 7 years have been mine Cell phones- exclusively Apple. True, I don’t chase fashion and don’t update myself with the release of every new model.

My first phone was an iPhone 3GS. It was replaced by a classic - the iPhone 4S (the phone is 6 years old, and still helps me out when necessary.

In October 2014, I upgraded to .

The six served me faithfully for 3 years. True, over time I had to do a little tricking myself and replace the battery and the lower board with the microphone, but these are minor things. I didn’t even think about switching to a new model. The 6S was not very different from the 6. In 7 they removed the jack for standard headphones and it really pissed me off. The release of 8 also didn’t make much of an impression on me, let alone 10: I want physical buttons, I don’t want strange “islands” that cut out part of the image.

But what happened happened... as usual, I updated the firmware from iOS 10 to iOS 11 and.... Got a TURTLE!

Owners of 6K, if you haven’t updated yet, think 10 times whether you need it!!! There are not many new features, but the loss of response speed is significant.

In addition, the speaker began to act up...

Quickly realizing that I wouldn’t be able to get any more money for my old used 6 anyway, the next day I rushed to the service office.

I've already returned home with a new one iPhone 8 Plus.

Why plus and not the usual eight? Yes, somehow I didn’t see any striking difference between 6 and 8, and decided that if I was going to buy it, I had to buy something new, different at least in screen size. Well, as a photography lover, I was captivated by the presence of a dual camera and a portrait mode (which, unfortunately, disappointed me. But more on that later).

My model color-Gold

Memory- 64 GB

Price- $799 + sales tax

Equipment standard: phone, charger block, cable with Lightning connector, headphones with Lightning connector, adapter from standard audio connector to Lightning. Papers, apple stickers. For some reason the clip for the SIM card slot got jammed this time((

My impressions.

1. As you already know, everything new is well forgotten old.

The design of the eights is not much different from the sevens, but the aluminum body has again become glass.

According to the Cupertino team, the glass is incredibly durable... Well, yes, well, yes... A week of careful use of the phone without a case and a very noticeable scratch has already appeared on the back panel. At the same time, she didn’t drop her phone, didn’t carry it in her pocket with keys and change...

It seems to me that the old 4S is even more resistant to scratches. (on the 4 there is a protective glass on the front, but back panel whole life without protection...)

Conclusion - despite the loud statements of the manufacturer, I highly recommend purchasing the case and protective glass. The phone is big and easy to drop.

Size compared to Kindle e-reader

And replacing the screen and back panel will not be cheap.

I have a case from ZVE with a “wallet” and a wrist strap.

Glass - VICX 3D, i.e. completely covering the front side, and folding over the edges.

When we bought an iPhone 7 for my husband, we immediately bought a protective glass from the store for $40. It would seem that for that kind of money it should stop bullets on the fly... Literally a month later he dropped the phone. The phone was in a case and with protective glass. You can see the result of the fall in the photo. The glass is intact, but the screen is in smithereens.

No audio jack.

It’s very annoying when you want to listen to music from your phone in the car, and at the same time you need to charge it... There are 2 wiring, but there is only one input... BRING BACK THE CONNECTOR, IRODS!!!

2. Possibility of fast and wireless charging.

The Cupertino team returned to glass in the body for a reason. This year's iPhones support fast as well as wireless charging. But... those who want to take advantage of such miracles of technology will have to fork out money - the standard set does not include a mat for wireless charging, or more powerful block food for fast charging not included. Bummer.

3. Screen .

Big. Beautiful. Bright)) Brighter than 6.

True, owners of 7K won’t notice much of a difference. I won’t say anything about the 6S, since there is no way to compare.

Among the new features is True Tone backlighting, i.e. The screen changes its color temperature depending on the surrounding conditions. On a bright day it is very cold, very white. In the evening it is warm yellow.

My eyes like the innovation. But this is not such a critical difference as to change 7 to 8.

The brightness is quite enough to comfortably see what is happening on the screen even in the brightest sun outside.

I have had no complaints about viewing angles since the era of 6: the image is juicy and does not lose its brightness at any viewing angle.

4. Sound.

Rejoice, music lovers. The sound in new iPhones is even louder, even clearer, and the bass is even deeper.

The external speaker is now stereo (in the 6 there was one external speaker). I can calmly enjoy music in the shower; the sound level is enough to “shout” the noise of the water.

5. By the way, about water.

Eights are dust and waterproof.

But, if my memory serves me correctly, it was back in the sevens.

Splashing in the shower or even dropping it in the sink will not harm the phone. But I still wouldn’t recommend swimming or diving with your phone. If only with a special waterproof cover.

6. Productivity.

New items inside

A11 Bionic with 64‑bit architecture
Neural system
Built-in M11 motion coprocessor

And judging by the tests, this processor is now the most productive on the mobile device market.

I will not provide any data from synthetic tests; there is plenty of it on the Internet.

Let me just say that the response from the phone is instantaneous. I just put my finger on the screen, and the action is already completed))) I won’t say anything about behavior in games, since I haven’t played heavy toys for a long time. Old age has crept up unnoticed...

7. Time battery life.

The battery capacity of the iPhone 8 Plus is 2675 mAh, which is 225 mAh less than that of the iPhone 7 Plus.

However, battery life, according to Apple, is the same as that of the 7 Plus.

In practice, with active use (5-6 episodes of the series, a couple of hours of talking with home via FaceTime, a couple of hours of Internet surfing, checking email, Google Maps, a little talk... I didn’t particularly time each use of the phone in seconds, but approximately in this charging mode it lasts me for a day, by the end there is still about 25-30% left. But now I can fall asleep without putting my phone on charge and be sure that it won’t turn off in the morning. If you do not use the phone actively, charging lasts for 2-3 days. Considering the size and brightness of the screen, this is good news. At the same time, with 8, I didn’t cut off everything that was possible in the settings, just so that the phone would last an extra 10 minutes.

The screen shows that the phone has already worked for more than a day, and the charge is still 47%

8. Camera.

The main drawback for me when choosing between the iPhone 8 and 8 Plus was the camera.

I love taking photographs, but it’s not always convenient to carry around a DSLR, which weighs several kilograms. Therefore, I wanted to have a quality camera on hand “just in case.”

Starting with sevens, iPhones have a main 12 megapixel camera. But in models with Plus, this is a dual camera that allows you to take photos that are close to “mirror” and blur the background, highlighting the main object.

When I read reviews from 7 Plus owners, they almost unanimously praised the quality of the photos and sent SLR cameras to gather dust in the far corner as unnecessary.

What can I say about this? I have no complaints about ordinary photographs. Naturally, you won’t do commercial photography on an iPhone, but for a quick “everyday” - why not? The images are bright, juicy and clear.

There is even a nice bokeh in some places with beautiful circles in the background.

But the portrait mode...An unpretentious user will take pictures and enjoy the quality of the pictures. But I ask you, do not compare this poor software bokeh with the bokeh from high-quality optics!

The photographs show how the processor is trying to determine the edges of the main subject in order to separate it from the background and blur the background. But the contour is not always determined correctly. Somewhere gaps are visible, and somewhere the image outline is blurred with spots.

Raskl also lost her mustache on the left, thanks to this “blur.”..

Anyone who, as they say, has never tried radish sweeter than horseradish, will be pleased with this quality. This makes my eyes want to cry tears of blood. Therefore, portrait mode is a useless feature for me, which I personally will hardly or never use. Foreva mirror)))

Front camera - 7 MP. Takes good selfies. Especially in the dark, using the screen as a flash.

By the way, in iOS 11, the iPhone saves photos in the new HEIC format, which takes up less space than standard JPG with the same image quality, and if you simply copy them to your computer through Explorer, the photo viewer will refuse to open them.

As always, there are several options:

1. Forget this matter if you do not copy photos to a computer.

2. In the phone settings, change the photo quality to standard JPG

3. If you use iCloud and synchronize your photo album with the cloud, just log into your account through a browser and download the necessary photos in standard JPG

A sad story about how I almost lost all the information from my old phone when I switched to a new one.

Usually upon purchase new iPhone I'm backing up old phone in iTunes on a laptop and simply upload this copy to the new device - all applications, settings, photos, notes, messages, etc. again with me. And I’ve done this more than once before, and the backup copy has never let me down.

This time something went wrong. But I found out about this already when I no longer had the old phone, and a backup copy, when I tried to upload it to new phone started giving an error.

My first reaction is shock. After all, in fact, I lost all the content. Never mind the messages and notes, I felt sorry for the photos that, out of stupidity, I didn’t save separately on the computer.

Sleepless night and Google to the rescue, and I found an application that can extract information from backup copies saved on your computer - iBackup Viewer. The application can be purchased, or you can use its lite version for free.

Owners of 6 and older models make sense to think about the transition. Especially if you want to use the latest iOS11.

Owners of 6S are questionable. Still, eskos have faster hardware, they already have live photos and the screen recognizes pressure, and the camera is 12/7 megapixels. It’s more a question of desire and availability of free funds to purchase new items.

I do not recommend that owners of 7 switch to 8. You won't find anything particularly new for yourself. You should wait for the next model, or pay attention to the 10 coming out in a month, if you don’t mind the screen size and the lack of physical buttons.

What can I say at the end of my essay?

I don't regret switching to the new model. And I’ve even gotten used to the size. Now my husband’s 7 seems tiny, and you can even look at the old 4S with a microscope.

But somehow apple products used to bring me more pleasure.

I don't like that to use the same high-speed charging I have to buy something else Charger(I’m already silent about the wireless mat), I don’t like the lack of an input for regular headphones. If Apple wants to provoke me in this way to buy wireless AirPods for $150 (11,990 rubles in Russia) - they won’t wait!

The promised “armor-piercing” glass of the case turned out to be not so armor-piercing...

Well, the camera in portrait mode was the main disappointment for me.

In all other respects, I am quite satisfied with the phone, and with a clear conscience, this time I rate it a solid 4 and recommend it for purchase to those who understand why they need a phone for $800 (65,000 rubles in Russia).

Thank you for your attention to the review!

I hope my chatter didn’t bore you))

And see you in new reviews!

On September 22 the first iPhone sales 8 and iPhone 8 Plus, the most noticeable difference of which is the glass body. Apple hasn't released a glass iPhone since 2011. The aluminum case, which appeared in the iPhone 5, turned out to be more durable and durable, but unsuitable for the introduction of wireless charging.

We have selected the most interesting crash tests of new smartphones.

Strength test

The author of the video blog JerryRigEverything compared the effect of two iPhone 8s falling on concrete: one without protection, and the second in a plastic case. The first two falls almost did not damage both smartphones, and after the third and fourth the screen and back cover smartphones without protection were severely damaged.

Bloggers from PhoneBuff tested the Note 8 and iPhone 8 Plus using special crash test equipment. Smartphones were thrown on the front and back panels and on their sides. The last test showed the least damage: the end frame in both models turned out to be impact resistant.

Another video from PhoneBuff - this time bloggers compared the iPhone 8 and Galaxy S8. Korean smartphone survived the fall worse than the iPhone 8: the glass in the S8 was damaged, but the iPhone did not.

The EverythingApplePro project compared the new iPhones with the previous generation - iPhone 7 Plus. When the presenter dropped the smartphones from the height of his head, the iPhone 8 Plus turned out to be broken: - from one blow, its entire back panel went into “cobwebs”, but its predecessor turned out to be almost unharmed.

Scratch test

Having tested the iPhone 7 and iPhone 8 using tools from a special kit with attachments of different levels of hardness (from plastic to topaz), EverythingApplePro found that the new generation is less susceptible to scratches than the previous one.

Only topaz (8) took the glass in the iPhone 8, while marks were left on the aluminum case and less hard nozzles (levels 6 and 7).

Blogger JerryRigEverything was able to scratch not only iPhone glass 8, but also a camera that Apple claims is made from sapphire. The blogger said that when examining the structure of the glass on a camera under a microscope, he found out that it was not pure sapphire, but an alloy of it with something less durable.

Bend test

The problem of bending iPhones became relevant back in 2014. Then the iPhone 6 came out with a body made of a single piece of aluminum and users complained that it could bend right in their pocket. Tests have shown that the iPhone 8 similar problem absent.

In the EverythingApplePro video, they tried to bend the iPhone 8 using their hands, but it didn't work. According to the blogger, the glass body does not bend at all and successfully passed his test, unlike the previous generation smartphone. In the case of the iPhone 7, the bend test completely destroyed the tightness of the smartphone.

Waterproof test

Blogger Jonathan Morrison immersed his iPhone 8 and Galaxy S8 in a public fountain of ice water for an hour. After the test, both smartphones continued to function normally.

The salt water test was carried out by the TechRax project. Both after five minutes and after an hour of complete immersion in Galaxy water S8 and iPhone 8 were fully working.

Conclusion from iFixit

A study of the iPhone 8 by iFixit service experts showed that to repair the glass cover of the new smartphone, it will be necessary to completely disassemble it. iFixit gave the iPhone 8 just a six in its repairability rating—less than the iPhone 7/7 Plus, iPhone 6s/6s Plus, and iPhone 6/6 Plus (all with seven points).
